Mummy and I have been to Maison Assouline a few times and we wanted to show Georgie one of our favourite places.
It is a place filled with lots and lots of beautiful books .. We ran up the stairs To the top level …to have a look at their showroom of beautiful furnishings And for another pose by yet another non-moving “animal” – they call it a sculptureWe then went downstairs so Mummy can have lunch …
Yum, yum – I can eat that all in one gulp! But Mummy she eats it delicately on toast – yes, I can have that too. 🙂Honestly, all these photos of us sitting next to Mummy on banquettes …Not for real.
Most of the time (after my attempt to get to the food has been thwarted) this is where we usually end up. The good thing is at Assouline, there are beautiful rugs to lie on.May’s comment: Maison Assouline located at 196A Piccadilly, London, a building designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1922 introducing their exclusive line of furniture elements, from lamps and carpets, sofas and desks, to our entire collection of books.
Lovely spot to stop for a spot of lunch or a drink in busy central London, amidst all these beautiful books.
