When we were at M Restaurant’s Doggy Event last Saturday (still waiting for photos to share!), we met Natalie Pritchard, the author of A Dog Lover’s Dream.
It’s a poem about her labradoodle, Alfie … it all began one chilly evening when she was relaxing in front of a roaring log burner when it appeared Alfie was dreaming. He “wriggled around emitting muffled barks”.
Natalie wondered what Alfie was dreaming. She wished he could tell her all sorts of things from his perspective … like I tell Mummy what to write when we sit down to blog! LOL!
After Natalie wrote A Dog Lover’s Dream, it was followed by A Dog Lover’s Nightmare Christmas – again inspired by real life events! Oh, Alfie, really?!?!?!
Hmmm, let’s have a closer look at Alfie
Wonder if he left any treats in there …My little sniffer tells me there’s something in there – especially in that Christmas nightmare book!May’s comments: If you would like a copy of her books, they can be found on Amazon and at Waterstones. But if you would like one signed by Natalie and Alfie, contact her on Instagram @ADogLoversDream.
