A Summer when we believed …

Today as England play their last match at FIFA World Cup – we say goodbye to the dreams of football greatness and hopes of an unexpected achievement in the Summer of 2018.

It has been a summer when we believed for a while that football was coming home. Alas, it was not to be. However, we had some great moments. England played some great football, winning the majority of their games. This was great news for the country and for those who were using football betting sites to back their national team. One of my friends decided to gamble on the England team at the World Cup and she was able to make quite a bit of money from their winning performances. Unfortunately, they were unable to make it to the final this time.

For their passion, here’s one last salute to a team of playerswho did us proud and along with the England manager who gave us hope, – THANK YOU!

We held our breath as you reversed the curse of penalty shootouts and we rejoiced together.

You gave the nation a sense of hope and when all other news is just crazy stupid and really annoyingly boring as well as scary.

Thank you for making us believe we can win – English Football.

And the THREE LIONS will roar again – someday soon. With your Manager! LOL!
And Mummy had the best fun dressing us up!

May’s comment: England kit will be safely put away – ready for the European Cup 2020!

England kit are the official toddler outfits and George’s waistcoat outfit is also a toddler’s outfit.
