Look there are doggies in the crowd! And the most colourful sugared almonds – very pretty! We sat down for Elevenses …Little Georgie wondering what will appear on the tableOh my! That’s their version of a palmier. Not very interesting for me.It is also a gift shop full of interesting things that Mummy loved.Oh look! They even had Mummy’s birthday on display. How did they know?!!?!May’s comment: La Maison Jouvaud, founded in 1948, is a famous chocolaterie in Carpentras. Started three generations ago, this family run business that now also has stores in Avignon, L’Isle sur-la-Sorgue and Tokyo. Absolutely delightful store of beautifully displayed pastries, chocolates and all sorts of sweeties. It’s also a gift shop of exquisite things. Couldn’t help but do some shopping.
