Funny chairs

Impostor told us about this place she stayed at in Hong Kong with Mummy. It has lots of funny chairs.IMG_5140 IMG_5143IMG_5146Sitting in the palm of a hand.IMG_5141 It was raining quite heavily outside – thank good she didn’t need any walking.IMG_5142They waited a long time for a taxi. When it rains in Hong Kong, everyone is trying to get one so they become really scarce.

IMG_5157May’s comment: Bye Hong Kong! Always love dropping in to say hello to friends and always reminiscing about the time spent living here and the frequent business trips of yesteryear. Always has a special place in my heart.

This time I decided to be a bit more adventurous and ventured out of comfort zones of the usual Central hangouts. Looked for boutique hotels recommended by Mr. And Mrs. Smith.  It was also Art Basel weekend – so found myself at J Plus by Yoo Hotels.  Know them well so I knew what to expect – but they still amuse me. Like these little touches. IMG_5137Very Phillippe Starck. IMG_5113Well, it was an experience.  For 24 hours, I could not cover all the things I would love to have had the time to – so being immersed in it was what I needed. IMG_5138
