Licks, kisses, waggy tail …

… more kisses, licks, tail wagging –

IMG_3480 And more kissesIMG_3478 And nuzzlingIMG_3477 That’s what you call a welcome home, Georgie! I heard you ran right past Mummy to the kitchen demanding food!!!

And no pouting, sulking, staying away.

May’s comment: That’s my girl! She then ran into the bedroom, saw her teddy IMG_3492and started to cry a little. 🙁IMG_3488And then lay down looking at me.
IMG_3489 As I read her sterling report card!!!IMG_3491She has this funny thing about being washed.  This is not the first time. She would be running like a country dog the whole time. The minute she has a bath – using her shampoo from Aroma Paws which smells of geranium, she suddenly becomes a city girl, snubbing the other dogs. What kind of behaviour is that, Miss D?!?!?!?

Anyway, she had a blast and this is a fine example of how they look after the “mutts” at the House of Mutts. They noticed immediately that Darcy’s eye had some gunk and slightly pink. They alerted me and asked for permission to take her to the surgery – the husband’s a vet. They check for ticks daily and Darcy had Frontline which doesn’t seem to work any more, and she was out of Verm-X.  We needed to apply Advocate from now on whenever she’s out in the countryside.

I bet you shed a tear May! I always do when I’ve been away from her and I think about her the whole time I’m away, even although I know she is being well looked after. So glad you are all back together. Keep well.

Welcome back miss may and miss Darcy and little George. look after yourself May. And enjoy those pooches now …..! ( How did they find the ticks?? I have wondered this before ….. Sealea is quite a curly black poo, …. Don’t think I would be able to see any ..but not sure what I would be looking for …?) I give her Advocate every month cos she just loves to rootel around our garden or long grass on walks … Abut didn’t think it covered ticks??)

    Anyway take care.

When you run your hands/fingers over their body and you when you feel a little scabby thing, look at it. The first time it happened I thought it was a scab but I did take her to the vet and they told me it was a big fat tick! I now have tick removers and actually took one out the other day. So proud of myself!!! 🙂

Get Darcy an amber collar… They are brilliant, no ticks since mine’s been wearing one all summer. She used to get lots.
