Lucky us – there’s a Farm Girl in Chelsea

A new place in the neighbourhood that loves dogs! It used to be where Henry Root was – the first place I ever went to when I was a puppy, and the beginning of finding dog-friendly restaurants in London! So we are indeed very happy that another dog-friendly restaurant had taken residence on our street!
May’s comment: Balloons to announce their opening! Grateful to have still another dog-friendly option on our street. Bright, casual cafe for health-conscious brunches, smoothies and sandwiches, Farm Girl opened it’s second location in Chelsea at 9 Park Walk. There’s another on Portobello Road.  On their website’s home page – it says “Doggy Friendly”! No need to ask and when we were in there in opening day, several dogs and their owners wandered in and the staff was happy to greet us.

We are very lucky that the range on our door step includes …

GOAT – Formerly a well-known pub in Chelsea which has been transformed into a New York-Italian restaurant & lounge bar serving grills and wood-fired pizza, with lounge bar.  They also have a kid’s club on Sundays – so good for the family outing. 333 Fulham Rd, London, SW10 9 QLIMG_6022-1

Suksan – Classic Thai food in a dining room filled with understated Asian motifs. They have two other restaurants but not sure if they are also dog-friendly. They became dog-friendly when they learnt that all the restaurants around them are. They just didn’t know they could. A welcomed addition – one of the best Thai restaurants in London. 7 Park Walk, London SW10 0AJ

Maze Grill Park Walk – Gordon Ramsay’s polished restaurant for steak, sushi and modern grill fare with Asian influences. One of their two dog-friendly Maze Grills – this and the one at Royal Hospital Road. 11 Park Walk, London SW10 0AJ
JUICE Baby – A place we frequent very often – like daily! 🙂 Modern cafe serving organic cold-pressed juices and smoothies plus health-conscious food and salads. Our daily haunt. Creamy Cacao for breakfast, some smoothie for lunch and another treat late afternoon. Don’t count the calories, just think it’s all organic! 398 King’s Rd, London SW10 0LJ

There are plenty others on both Kings Road and Fulham Road. See our Wine & Dine list.
