#Dar-naby has stolen the limelight – but it doesn’t matter.
Jaffa and I have been an item a lot longer than Darcy and Barnaby have been.
Back in 2014, when we first met –I had just come from the streets of Hungary, and Jaffa was just a puppy. We got on immediately. Maybe because we were the right size – I don’t know what happened but she soon grew taller than me. But Jaffa never minded that I was always going to be the little guy – because I had a big attitude to make up for my size.
Over the years, we’ve been through lots of fun play times, scary times at the Vet and even humiliating ones together. She was there for me – teaching me to play in the water when I was scared.Through it all, she has always been my girl.Jaffa, you’ve stood by me and been my friend when others called me names – the Hungarian refugee, they said. Or “the accident.”
You’ve generously shared your hoomans with me, never once jealous. And we’re so glad you are also a part of my family.
I love it when you bite my ears when we play. Your yelping excites me.
Thank you for loving me.
May’s comment: Very Hollywood, Jaffa and George. The little guy with the tall blond! LOL! They are the best of friends for a long time now. They are so comfortable with each other, sometimes they play non-stop, always George instigating. Other times, they lie together and sleep the afternoon away. May they always be each other’s best friend. Not even Minnie should replace Jaffa. 😉
