Hello all doodles! It is the end of June and it’s time for our next Hyde Park Doodles Meet!
This coming Sunday, our dog behaviourist, whom we call the “chicken lady” aka Vanessa Guimares will be joining us to pass on some tips on dog training. We call her the “chicken lady” because she sure gives us a lot of chicken for everything we do right.
If you have any questions about training, she will be happy to discuss them with you.
In addition to Vanessa, we may have another visitor – fingers crossed he will be able to join us! Yay! So excited!
And of course if Churchill is still with us, he will be joining us doodles!
May’s comment: Same time (11am), same place (behind the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens). Group photo (11.30am)
Vanessa Guimares, a dog behaviourist, will be joining us. Vanessa helped me with George early on when we had aggression issues with Darcy when it came to resource guarding.
Vanessa has a B.Sc. degree in Canine Behaviour & Training from Hull University and has been working with dogs since 2007. As a result has spent hundreds of hours teaching private lessons, dog and puppy training classes and consulting privately on dog behaviour problems throughout London and the surrounding areas.
Her mission is simply to help people and dogs enjoy one another through real understanding, compassion, cooperation and heartfelt connection. She applies scientific principles to her training with the dogs’ well-being at the centre of it all.
She will be there to answer questions about your pooches’ behaviour.
