Holy Mackerel!

Someone just told us she saw this article in Daily Mail Online – Phileas Dog’s Ruff Guide

IMG_1995 There were lots of photos from our travels!IMG_1996Guess they haven’t added the mileage of our upcoming trip! πŸ™‚

May’s comment: Someone approached us on an article about Darcy’s travel after reading our blog.

We provided photos from our blog travel posts but had forgotten all about the video of Darcy opening a present.  It was during the time when she had to be shaved because she was so matted.  But what made me smile was the excited voice of Sasha aka “Little Tyke” when he was only just 3 doing a running commentary as Darcy opened her Christmas present from Aunty Jane.  He was more excited than she was. πŸ™‚

And finally, they did not mention that there is just one place I always feel good when leaving her behind – at the House of Mutt for the times when I can’t take her with me.

And we finally saw this in the Daily Mail – page 3!unnamed-2Also got a mention by Sara Cox on BBC Radio 2 this morning’s Breakfast Show. πŸ™‚

I just read about you in The Daily Mail! I am so pleased to find someone else who can’t bear to leave their dogs at home! I’m a writer for a travel newspaper and any time we travel I make sure my dogs can come with us. They are part of our family and we simply wouldn’t enjoy being anywhere without them. If you are ever visiting Ireland again Lough Eske Castle in Donegal is pet friendly and a great place to visit. I did a review with my two boys – http://www.nitravelnews.com/travel-reports/1269-truly-unique-and-steeped-in-history.html. We have also done a few trips on Scotland (which I find to be the most dog friendly place in the whole of the UK).

How lovely May! And I agree with Kirsty, Scotland is very dog friendly and I don’t think there was anywhere in Glasgow we were refused entry…. Or Maybe they just heard my native accent and thought it best to let us in lol.
