Twas The Night Before Christmas

After watching The Snowman and The Snowdog, Little Tyke and Mini Tyke got into their Christmas pyjamas.

Then Mummy read the poem “Twas The Night Before Christmas” to Little Tyke, Mini Tyke and me.  We also read The Polar Express.

When Mummy asked Little Tyke what he would like for Christmas – he said – a little bell. He remembered the story of The Polar Express.

Then we laid out the milk and mince pies – some refreshment for Father Christmas when he comes down the chimney.  Not forgetting the reindeer, we laid out some carrots for them.  Little Tyke asked Father Christmas for snow – oh dear! Think he will have his first wish not come true. But I am of little faith – who knows?!?!?!

When Little Tyke was fast asleep, Mummy set to work – afterall, she’s “Father Christmas” and Elf this year

So as she set about wrapping the pressies, I had to get in the middle of it too.

Then the stockings were hung … and all the presents under the tree …

And Mummy and I went off to our abode to have our own Christmas Eve night!
