Claude Bosi’s cuisine is reassuringly simple, allowing ingredients to be highlighted by their own seasonal qualities. Colbert – Inspired by the great boulevard cafes of Paris, Colbert serves a French cafe menu in trio of rooms with art nouveau, art deco and Victorian features. Dogs are only allowed in the bar dining area and there’s also outside seating. Fifty Cheyne – Situated in quaint old Chelsea, it’s an elegant, posh Provençal brasserie serving the best of English fish and meats. Delicious food, good wines and lovely staff. Le Comptoir Robuchon is a tribute to Joel Robuchon’s legacy, simplicity, consistency and attention to detail. It is perhaps one of the best French restaurants & cocktail bars in the heart of Mayfair London. Located at 6 Clarges Street, Mayfair W1J 8AE – as there isn’t a lot of space in between tables it would be not advisable to bring large dogs.
Le Deli Robuchon, in the heart of Mayfair, is open for all-day dining, takeaway and delivery. Located at 82 Picadilly, Mayfair W1J 8JA – perfect for stopping after walkies in Green Park.
Le Gavroche – They do not have policies against dog but they warned that because it is such a small space, the dogs have to be “small.” I celebrated a big birthday there with Darcy. 43 Upper Brook Street, W1K 7QR (CLOSED)
L’Escargot – Set in the heart of London Soho, situated near great theatres, L’Escargot is classic French fine dining. Located in a converted townhouse with artworks by Miro, Warhol and Picasso. Medlar – Exceptional high-end, modern French food with global influences using seasonal ingredients served in an understated dining room. Once a Michelin star restaurant.
