On our New Year’s Eve beach walk in Marazion, Cornwall, a rainbow appeared. 🌈 Just like it did on the shores of St. Andrews on the first day of 2023. 🌈

Our annual walk by the seaside tradition, where the rhythmic waves meet the shore holds symbolisms for us. The water becomes a metaphor for cleansing while offering a moment to gaze towards the horizon and contemplate the year that lies ahead.

Between those two rainbows, our year was filled with adventures, memorable events, and surprises. This is our second New Year without Darcy, but not a day passes without a thought of her. Welcoming Lulu into our tradition adds a new chapter to our story, a reminder that life continues. But those we’ve loved and lost have a way of returning to us. 🌈

As we bid farewell to another year by the water’s edge, we embrace the beauty of continuity and the everlasting connection to those who have touched our hearts. Here’s to the cycles of life, the echoes of cherished memories, and the undying love that transcends time. 🌊🌈
Happy New Year from Cornwall. ♥️

Beautiful words and sentiments! Happy New Year to All!
How wonderful to have rainbows two New Year’s in a row. Our doggies, Gina and Zoey, bring us such contentment on holidays like New Year’s Day. We’re so glad that you and George have Lulu now and we know that Miss Darcy arranged it all! Jill
