The Park Restaurant, Bayswater: A New World Grand Cafe
Tucked just across from Hyde Park, The Park Restaurant in Bayswater offers the kind of relaxed elegance that feels perfectly at home in its leafy surroundings. With its light-filled dining room, friendly team, and American/Italian menu, it’s a place that effortlessly blends sophistication with comfort — and best of all, it’s dog-friendly.

The menu is a celebration of seasonal ingredients and thoughtful cooking. Think beautifully presented dishes with fresh, bright flavours — from crisp salads and seafood to indulgent roasts and expertly grilled mains. I had the Heritage Pumpkin Risotto with crispy sage and pumpkin seed. Jacqui had the Chicken Milanese with rocket and Parmesan salad. There’s a well-curated wine list, classic cocktails, and desserts worth lingering over. I had to have the key lime pie.

Whether you’re stopping in for brunch, a leisurely lunch, or dinner after a stroll through Hyde Park, The Park feels like a little oasis in the city.
For those of us who love dining out with our dogs, it’s a gem. The staff are genuinely welcoming to canine guests, offering water bowls and the occasional cheese biscuit treat.

After your meal, cross the road for a walk through Hyde Park — from the Italian Gardens to the Serpentine — the perfect way to round off a meal well enjoyed.
The Park Restaurant is more than just a great neighbourhood spot; it’s a reminder that dining with your dogs doesn’t mean compromising on style or quality. The cuisine is American/Italian all-day dining.
The restaurant serves breakfast daily until 11:30. An all-day menu is available from 11:30 Monday to Friday and from 17:00 on weekends and Bank Holidays. A brunch menu is served from 11:30 to 16:30 on weekends and Bank Holidays.
The Park has a delightful art collection.

The latest is Rose, a monumental pink steel sculpture by celebrated British conceptual artist Michael Craig-Martin.

The Park restaurant in London is owned by the acclaimed restaurateur Jeremy King, who also runs other well-known establishments.
