A Jingle Bell bus of Doodles!

Hop on board all doodles! 
Well, almost all doodles! And there were more coming!!!We were all on board for our 3rd annual Doodle Christmas Party.This year we chose the Brigit Bakery Afternoon Tea bus – and 28 pooches and their hoomans had a most delightful Afternoon Tea on board this London Routemaster bus. Oh what a setting, said Freddie.When everyone settled in, We pooches snuggled up to our hoomans Rusty with MartineFreddie adopted a “grandmother”

“No!” said Dylan, “she’s mine!”While Emma gave Nellie a hug.
“Me too!” said Dylan.Emily, Dylan, Nana and Nellie travelled from Windsor.At another table …Uka (Welsh Spaniel) and Oggy (Cavapoo) “eyeing” the foodAndrew, Stanley and Annie – Stanley is one of those who doesn’t care about food too much. Unimaginable!

Theo (Cavaschon) and Winston (Pooschon) were so excited – we only managed to get a photo of his tail! 

It was heard that Barnaby nicked a sandwich!  Tsk! Tsk! Freddie – caught on camera, desperate for all those goodiesRusty had some tea.And I behaved impeccably (at the moment when this photo was taken)but some were not so food inclined and snoozed, i.e. StanleyWe didn’t make a single woof. Can’t say the same for the hoomans. They made far too much noise singing especially the little ones! Dylan had to sing – “The Wheels on the Bus” … And Liam then went on to sing the dogs went “Woof! Woof! Woof!”The big hoomans all sang Christmas songs!

We had so much fun and the food, well, what can we say? Nothing because I didn’t get any!!!!! Well, maybe just a piece of salmon and some bread.

May’s comment: We started our annual Doodle Christmas Party three years ago so that our much-loved and privilege poos, especially at this time of year when we splurge on gifts, that they could give something back to those who are in need of a home.  In the first year we donated to Hungary Hearts Dog Rescue in honour of George, our honourary poo. Last year we donated to DOTS – Dogs on the Streets and this year due to the ever-increasing popularity of doodles, there are now many more in need of a home, so we are supporting DoodleAid – a charity that rescues and rehome Doodles.

THANK YOU to all who came to make merry and help raise funds.  Some came as far as Yorkshire, Rutland, Bristol and Dorset! Well done you dedicated ones!!!!

If anyone has any ideas for next year’s venue, let me know. We’re growing as a group and will need a larger venue as our dogs from grown from cockapoos to labradoodles and goldendoodles!!!!  And if anyone wants to organise it – over to you!!!
