Yesterday we all set off on a long car journey – come to think of it, this might have been my first long car journey. I’ve been on trains, planes, boats, buses, taxis but I’ve not been on a long car journey. There was such calamity trying to get Little Tyke and Mini Tyke into the car – it was raining and I didn’t know what was happening – I made sure I wasn’t going to be left behind. So I jumped into the car and I jumped onto Sammy’s lap – much to his dismay. Finally we got everything into the car and we were off.
We went to Ashurst to stay with some friends. I met Zebedee again. He’s a Jack Russell. We met more than a year ago.
He told me off early on – rather he was letting me know I was entering his territory but then he was ok with me. But I knew not to cross the boundaries and kept my distance.
We did go out for a walk after supper and it was dark! Mummy needed a torch to see where I was. I ran along with Zeb along the road and in the rain. That was an experience for me – the city girl!
Here I am back from our walk – wet and annoyed!
