“A Cat Is Not A Dog”

IMG_4982

We got that Old Deuteronomy aka Judi Dench!

Of course, they’re not!

Last Sunday was the first dog screening at Picturehouse Fulham Road – and they thought it’d be funny to show “CATS”. Ha! Ha!

So we went along to learn more about those Jellicle Cats. There was a lot of excitement at first when we all arrived to be seated.

Even Tina Fey is at the movies!

Hello! Tina Fey!

Hello Theo, Winston, Daisy and Dolly!

Brewster’s puparazzi!

We took our seat – blanket provided for pooches.

And then the movie started – and I went to sleep.

And so did all the doggies. That’s what we think about “Cats” – after all “cats are not dogs.”

Thank you Picturehouse Fulham Raod for hosting us.

May’s comment: The film didn’t have good reviews but someone said – this was how to make something not good into something enjoyable. Couldn’t agree more!

I wanted to see the film because I enjoyed the West End production when I first saw it more than 30 years ago! Can’t believe it’s been that long ago. But I guess it’s a bit dated by now and everyone has heard all the songs. The costumes were fab and because I love “Strictly,” I loved the dancing.

There will be future dog screenings – the next one in early February. Will announce this once we have confirmation of date and film. Promise it will be a better film!
