I’ve been sharing with you my time with Didier Montalvo. He’s Mummy’s friend from Bogota who has congenital melanocytic nevus (CMN). Today there was a party specially for Didier to meet other children who also suffers from CMN. Mummy and I were invited to attend. I met a lot of children there. I was a bit tensed as children often frighten me with their loud noises and jerky movements. So we started off by me sitting on the side to watch what they were doing. 
Then I got a little closer – hmmm, I see a rabbit but it wasn’t running away.
Then it was bubbles time. I didn’t really chase them but watched closely –
But Didier caught lots of them in his hands and on his hair! 
And then they danced around with scarves to the song from Frozen – “Let It Go” 
… and someone dropped one on my head!!! Very funny!
May’s comment: Caring Matters Now is the support group for CMN sufferers. It’s an amazing support group for these families. Often Dr. Kinsler, the leading researcher from Great Ormond Street Hospital is in attendance to give updates on her research as well as to provide any medical advice to these families. Today’s support group was mainly for the purpose of Didier meeting other CMN children about his age. There were quite a few south Americans there so Didier’s mother Luz could speak to them.
