Lunch date at Flat 3

While we pooches go to doggy day care and play all day, our hoomans are busy with other stuff. So Emma of Man’s Best Friend KC thought it would be lovely for them to finally meet each other.

The meet-up was at Flat Three Restaurant in Notting Hill about three weeks ago before the infection numbers started going up again.

The tables had been rearranged for social distancing.

But the pooches were free to roam amongst the hoomans who were all dog lovers.

This is not allowed when non-doggy guests are dining.

Percy is the host of the event.

And one of our friends, Popcorn’s mum who owns Cutter & Squidge (London’s only 100% all natural bakery) provided a beautiful array of sweets.

There were also treats for us pooches. Not sure why they were on a plate and inconveniently on a table.

Rather inconvenient …

For this special occasion, they allowed ten dogs … these are just six of all who attended.

I hope we will be able to do more of this in the future – defo an idea for our Hyde Park Doodle Christmas lunch – if we’re allowed to have more than six people by then.

May’s comment: This get together at Flat Three was for the humans who’s pooches go to Man’s Best Friend KC doggy day care. We see our dogs play together on their Instagram feed but most of us have never met.

One dog’s humans is the proprietor of Flat Three Restaurant at 122 Holland Park Road. And they have started to allow dogs at the restaurant for Friday and Saturday lunches, Emma of Man’s Best Friend KC thought it would be lovely for us to get together at Flat Three Restaurant.

Please call ahead and let them know if you’re bringing your pooch – and they will make sure that the seating will be allocated properly.

And what a delightful find! High-end, eclectic tasting menus and à la carte dishes in a polished basement with craft cocktails. We can describe it as a Korean-Japanese-Scandinavian fusion restaurant which uses all-British produce. Another way of framing it – a British restaurant with strong Korean, Japanese and Scandinavian influences

I can still taste the yumminess of this.
