A cockapoo, Millie has been rehomed in Boston. There has been so many sad stories of late so we’re thrilled to have one with a happy ending!
The cockapoo was found along with nearly 200 other animals living one of the worst animal hoarding cases in Lynnfield, Massachusetts.
When Katie Magyar and her boyfriend, Jamie Hill met Millie at MSPCA-Angell, her comment was – “I was shocked at how comfortable she was with us and by how resilient she is,” said Magyar, who added she was struck by the cockapoo’s calm and friendly demeanor. “I know that there are challenges that come with adopting but I think that we are totally willing to work with (Millie).” – YAY! That’s good testimony for us cockapoos!

We were so sad and then so happy when we read this story! Hoarding animals is a real problem in the States. We have learned that often it starts with good intentions. People taking in strays and before they know it they have more than they can handle! We are happy this Cockapoo will be loved!
