Aaaah, Spa-aah …

Funny thing is, Mummy sends us to The Pet Spa frequently but she doesn’t treat herself to spa days much. In fact, hardly. But after all those late, late nights WATCHING the Olympic Games, and a long winter, she thought it was time to do something for herself. A good spa day is in order.

We went to check out three of them close to us.

First stop – Blink Spa at Bluebird.  Nope, not really what she was looking for today – more for nails. eyebrows and massages.IMG_4685We often go there for her mani/pedi but when she has a massage, we are only allowed to sit at reception and wait. Not allowed in the treatment rooms. Understandable.

Further along is KX Fitness. They have a Spa and it looks like one of those places where dogs are not allowed.  But it was ok for us to be at Reception.
IMG_4643But their treatments sound like what Mummy’s looking for.

And around the corner is Bliss Spa -ahh …IMG_4651They like dogs here! 🙂 Again only at reception 🙁

At least these spas allow us into the reception. Don’t think this can happen at the hotel spas. For today, KX Spa won the choice.  Mummy took me home and she went it alone.

Mummy’s separation anxiety seems to be improving, as she knows George and I are absolutely fine at home together when she goes out for a couple of hours.  Today, she is less likely to insist that she only goes to dog-friendly places. 🙂

That’s ok too because sometimes we don’t understand why we are at these strange hooman places – no treats and nowhere to run.

May’s comment: Going to the spa with doggies might be a stretch too far. No doggies allowed in treatment rooms even though I have snuck them into one or two before. I guess Spa days are also meant to be self-indulgent.
