At Battersea

Yesterday we took a bus across Battersea Bridge and once inside the park – there was no containing myself!  Run! Run! Run!

IMG_4662Little Tyke and his parents went off to the Children’s Zoo while we waited for them …

And we stopped by the little kiosk for some water.

IMG_4688When they finally emerged (after having my paws washed) it started to rain and we all ran/walked quickly to get out of the park.  As we were crossing the road, along came a horse and carriage – clip clopping along – very smart. Little Tyke was mesmerised by it.

Then we went to lunch at The Butcher & Grill – we weren’t sure if I could go in at first. But we can!  Hooray! Another good place to know.

Mummy had a steak pie – oh yum! But nothing for me …

PLEASE?!?!?!?!

IMG_5497After lunch, we walked home – across the Battersea Bridge – tired.

May’s comment: The Butcher & Grill is on Parkgate Road, Battersea – nice casual family restaurant and butchers!
