The taxi took us to Blythswood Square Hotel – one of the few hotels in Glasgow that would let me stay.
It is in an old Georgian building around Blythswood Square just west of the city. We checked in and then took a walk around the square so I can relieve myself after the long train ride.
They had bowls and dog bed for me –
A little on the small side, don’t you think?
Not a chance, I’m on the bed!
Then it was time to get going. We went to the lobby to wait for Mummy’s friend, Tom.

Lulu and l went to Glasgow on the sleeper train, she loved it! We’re going up again this summer so l will keep this hotel in mind 🙂
We went on the sleeper train last June to Inverness – I have to say I prefer travelling by day. I know it took up a whole day but I felt claustrophobic in that small cabin!!!!! Actually Darcy took up the whole bed! She was fine – just a little confused why we were locked up.
