We had the unexpected pleasure of Jasper and Amber on the day we were discovering Burnham Market.
The Hoste Hotel where we stayed was very well placed in the village. We walked right out onto the main “square” –
There were many pretty houses
There were pink doors
And pink shops
And very colourful signs
Lots of fun little shops that
Mummy particularly liked this one
So we went in and she had a good long browse while we entertained the shop owner
There were shops with funny names
And aha! a few interior design stores that caught Mummy’s eye
And our lovely butcher who supplied us our breakfast
There are lots of greens in the centre of the square
More shops that like dogs
And one that didn’t let us in
May’s comment: Burnham Market on the North Norfolk coast is a beautiful, vibrant and trendy village centred around the green. Nicknamed Chelsea at Sea because of all the Londoners who love going there! Well, guess we were drawn to the beauty like our “neighbours” 🙂
Saw Burnham Market the last time we were driving to Holkham and as we went past the green square, my eyes followed all the quant little shops as we sped past. So this time I thought it would be a good idea to stop and check it out. And we were nicely surprised.
