Chelsea is undoubtedly one of the most dog-friendly boroughs in London, and they’re gearing up to celebrate the many shops that roll out the red carpet for our four-legged friends!

This Saturday, on the 5th October, over 75 of the shops, restaurants and hotels in the neighbourhood will be hosting special events. So why not stroll down King’s Road and Sloane Street with your furry companion and enjoy a fun-filled day of shopping and pup-friendly activities?

Here are just some of the happenings this Saturday. Check out Kings Road website for a detailed list of all the happenings.

Anabela Chan: bespoke dog chains with baroque pearls, glass bead charms and detachable birth stones in collaboration with Pintu, an Austrian sustainable dog brand.

Aspiga: Visit their doggy tarot reader, Sally Page will be in store from 11am-5pm for a 20-minute reading for £15 (cash payment only) no appointment needed.

Clarendon Fine Art: Meet artist Debbie Boon in-store from 11.30am – 4pm for the opportunity to book a personalised commissioned painting of your dog.

Giorgio Armani: discover their Poldo Dog accessories. Photographer Amie Barron will be on hand for complimentary sessions from 11am – 5pm.

Jeroboams: Dog ‘pawtraits’ by artist Graeme Ross and complimentary champagne, canapés afternoon and pawsecco for pups from 12:30-5pm. Pre-bookable on this link to book a spot.

Jigsaw – Capture your pup’s best sides, and create timeless keepsakes with Elena of Pawtiqe in a fun 20-minute photography session . The sessions are £30, which can be applied as credit toward any image, print, or wall art purchase. Contact Elena on @Pawtiqe to book final slots.

Knoops while you’re enjoying a delicious hot chocolate, Sophie Stockart will be doing Quick&Quirky sketches from 10am till 5pm. Contact Sophie to make your booking.

LMH Townhouse, the award winning dog cafe will play host to Alexander Khokhlovcom who will be setting up his photographic studio and offering 30 minute sessions with you and your dog. Alexander creates amazing digitally enhanced images and for £100 you will receive a physical print. All proceeds will be donated to Pets As Therapy.

LMH Townhouse will also be hosting a series of talks by experts in their field of work with dogs, from nutisionists to grooming.

12 noon – Cam, The Dog Nutirtionist

1pm – Vivienne, Veterinary Surgeon

2pm – Brodie, canine chiropractor

3pm – Diana, senior dog groomer

5.30pm – Lottie Gross, travel writer, journalist and content specialist

Luca Faloni offers a complimentary studio portrait by @thehighgatedogphotogrpaher between 11am – 3pm.

Moncler showcases their latest Moncler X Poldo Dog couture jackets. We love them!

Alex Class will be on hand from 1-7pm to take snaps of your pooches and special dog treats by Darcy’s Bakery.

Moyses Stevens: One of our favourites from the very first Chelsea Dog Day, beautiful floral collars for the perfect picture moment.

Oliver People’s – offering a complimentary tote bag for humans and bespoke dog biscuits with a cootn treat ouch for pups when purchasing a pair of sunglasses.

PAIGE on King’s Road offers complimentary illustrations of your pooch in-store by Chloe of Pet Portrait Illustration will be there. Bookable via petportraitillustration@gmail.com

Pet Pavilion: Enter their competition with Gruff Pawtraits by popping into the store, following @petpavilion and @gruffpawtraits on Instagram to be entered into the prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a photo session. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Rhian a few years ago.

Peter Jones – dog photography by Jonny of Woof Photogrpahy will be there to take beautiful snaps of your pooch for £30.

Taschen – Visit their store where Pets as Therapy ambassador James Middleton will be signing copies of his book ‘Meet Ella’ from 10:30-12:30pm with all purchases of the book to be donated to the charity.

WYSE – drop in for some Caboodles treats.

And the Saturday market at Duke of York Square will feature 20 dog stalls.These are just some of the happenings of the day.

The Aubrey at the Mandarin Oriental – have brunch while you pooches enjoy their Pawberry Menu

The Butcher’s Tap and Grill is Tom Kerridge’s latest destination. Dogs can enjoy Crispy Pig Ears whilst owners can tuck into a delicious lunch or dinner.

The Cadogan, A Belmond Hotel‘s The LaLee offers a canine menu where dogs can enjoy dishes including Beef Tartare, Salmon, Spinach and Eggs, and more. Whilst owners can enjoy a limited edition gin-based cocktail, the ‘Chelsea Spaniel’
