Clip clopping through Christmas in Chelsea

IMG_3094 (1)

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas …

We’ve sung carols last Thursday, we’ve made Christmas cards and this weekend we met up with our friends at Duke of York Square to celebrate Christmas in Chelsea.

HEY Fred!!!!

And like last year the highlight of the day was the privilege of the horse and carriage ride.

Lined up and ready to go!

But first we must meet the Elves – they run the show!

Note colour coordinated outfits

And off we went …

Clip clopping around Sloane Square and into the side streets

And down Pavilion Road

We’re very familiar with the streets but quite different seeing it from a different perspective. We were all curious at the sights.

Just checking the shops

It was a quick ride – thank you Duke of York Square!

But there were lots more to see. We needed to check out the Snow Globe in Sloane Square.

And voila! Is that not the cutest Snow Globe?!?!!?

The Bulgari Dream Maker

There were penguins …

Every family needs a dog and George volunteered.

And then there was a giant pig.

George’s thinking … bacon! LOL!

We crossed over to the Duke of York Square and lots more decorations.

Sharing some wings with Fred.

And more Elves who told us that Father Christmas will soon be there.

And so we hung around (like the wreath in the background) for the last attraction of the day …

And finally Father Christmas arrived!

Meet Naughty and Nice! Who’s who?

And before the weekend was over, we lit the second Advent candle …

Christmas is coming!

May’s comment: We are hurtling towards Christmas. Just over two weeks and so much more to do. We’ve sung carols, made Christmas cards, horse carriage ride … and starting to pack for our trip.

  1. The wonder of Christmas, thank you May, Darcy, George, friends, Elves, Santa and the horses. You spread so much Joy and smiles to all who see you out and about, and especially your brilliant posts, the photos are exceptional. I think Darcy and George will need more wardrobe space, their outfits are so lovely. Hope George managed to get a little bacon butty, he’s a good little worker, I’m always amazed how the doggies pose so perfectly. Thank you for bringing so much Christmas Magic, and spreading the love. Cheerio for now xxx
