A very ostentatious dog bowl

We arrived for lunch at Chiltern Firehouse.  They must have been expecting us because as soon as we sat down, they brought us some water in this rather unusually ornate bowl.Mummy, am I allowed to drink from this bowl?
Hmmm – yes, it’s just regular water, George. You can have some too.
Mummy had found out that doggies are allowed in the courtyard seating at this rather trendy restaurant.  But as you have heard by now, the weather is totally unreliable.  We had to wait for it not to rain.
So when the weather forecast promised sun, Bruno and his mummy joined us for lunch too. Bruno’s mummy had some cauliflowerWhile Mummy ordered a lobster crab omelette – and this is what she got … It’s ok Mummy I won’t have any. It doesn’t look like there’s enough for you.

I’ll just sit quietly on the bench, like Bruno while you have your lunchWhen dessert came, it was equally interestingBut we managed to get through lunch without it raining on us!
