Every Day Miracles

IMG_7035

There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.  Albert Einstein

Mum says I am a miracle …

And so is George.

Because things don’t just happen. We are all in this together for a reason.

May’s comment: Watched Miracles from Heaven on Netflix the other day – a Christian faith-based amazing and true story about a devout mother who suffers a crisis of faith as she fought to fight her daughter’s terminal illness. A tear-jerker but a wonderful reminder at the end that MIRACLES are everywhere. MIRACLES are goodness, showing up in the strangest of ways, in people passing by, in dear friends who are always there for us no matter what.

It made me think about not just this past year with so much sad and tragic news, but in the midst of it, there were many MIRACLES – of those heroes who helped us through the uncertain days, the beautiful stories that uplifted us. And it made me think of the many things that had happened in my life which I have never stopped to give thanks – the little things that we often overlook.

These four are some of my miracles …

From one of the lowest moments in my life, these four beings became a big and important part of my life. They have given me four reasons to love.

We recently celebrated Darcy’s tenth birthday – I am grateful for all the people she connected me with, whom I would never have met otherwise. Whether it was someone walking past with a dog or finding each other on social media. Through them I have met new friends who are now a part of my everyday life. Here are just some of them …

There are MIRACLES everywhere because … MIRACLES are goodness, showing up in the strangest of ways, in people passing by, in dear friends who are always there for us no matter what. If we choose to see things as miracles, there is so much more to be thankful for.
