Doesn’t everything looks extra pretty when it snows?
They have been forecasting snow in London in weeks past and it never snowed. But Rusty’s mum insisted we met up this morning, especially since it should have been our January Hyde Park Doodle Meet today.
When we arrived at our usual gathering place, Rusty and I ran to see if there were other doodles.

Sadly there were none. Where is everybody?

Mum shouted, “In Lockdown!”
OK then. The pottered along and the snow was coming down fast and furious the and as we walked further inside the park, it became a Winter Wonderland!

So glad we didn’t miss it.
We saw some familiar sights all covered with snow.

But no squirrels around –

Are they in Lockdown too?
As we made our way back to the Serpentine Gallery … still no doodle friends.

May’s comment: Today would have been our first Hyde Park Doodles Meet-up of 2021. It’s been a whole year now since we last met in February 2020.
We are missing our friends and hope we will be able to gather again.

You and Rusty look so lonely outside the Serpentine Gallery. On a brighter note though the snow is very pretty, and the Peter Pan statue made me smile. I have a photo SOMEWHERE, of me peeking around the base of the statue. I was six years old, so a very long time ago!🥰🥰
What a fab picture that must be!
