Last evening, we were at FLUX, a contemporary art exhibition held in prestigious London venues for over 11 years. The FLUX Exhibition showcases the work of talented artists from the UK and abroad and creates opportunities for artists and collectors to connect. FLUX also publishes The FLUX Review, a bi-annual collectable magazine that combines art, travel, culture, and lifestyle.
There were two main reasons for us being there.
Firstly, meet Catarina Diaz, a London-based artist who has become an established figure in the art world. She has received multiple awards and recognition from the President of Portugal for her exceptional talent. Her transcendent pieces mix realism with naturalism and spirituality.
She had created a piece for us, titled – SOULBOND
“A bespoke portrait of May Ping Wong surrounded by her beloved dogs Lulu, George and Darcy – one now passed, yet gently present at the heart of the scene. Together, they embody a soul-deep connection that transcends time.
Peonies bloom around them, symbolising beauty, honour, and grace, while cranes soar above, messengers of longevity and spiritual harmony in Chinese tradition. Rendered in soft, dreamlike tones, SOULBOND is a tribute to enduring love, memory, and unseen ties that bind us forever.“
This will now hang proudly amongst some of our favourite pieces in our home—not in the bedroom but in our living room—so it can be shared with visitors.
And so proud that our dear friend, Andrew of Raven Imagery, is at his first exhibition. We also spotted George and Lulu in several of his ICONIC images.

Every dog was born an icon; they are never just a dog.
Each portrait is a legacy, combining multiple exposures into one expression. Capturing the joy they bring to my life in all their spontaneous selves, this is my heartfelt thank you to them.”
