I loved you every day of your life.
I will miss you every day for the rest of my life.
May’s comment: Happy Heavenly Birthday Darcy!
I love these photos of Darcy and the other House of Mutt guests dancing on the table where she celebrated her 9th birthday! I can imagine her doing just today.
And to celebrate Darcy, I decided to get myself a tattoo! Once upon a time, I thought it was a terrible mistake to ink something so permanent on your body. Well, for one, I am too old to worry about regrets, and the thought of Darcy permanently walking by my feet … well, there were no second thoughts. In fact, I couldn’t wait to get it done.
Off we went, George and I, to Frith Street Tattoo …

I took the recent Pet Portrait Illustration of Darcy and transferred that to a tattoo on my left ankle.

Voila! The three of us … always together. 😊

That’s not the only thing that goes everywhere with me … Naddy of The Dashing Hound sent us a cockapoo keepsake – which she had actually made in the likeness of Darcy. This I keep in my wallet.

I had hoped she would make her 11th birthday – she fell short by a month and four days. Again, if she had been here with us, we might not even have celebrated.
Have the best Heavenly Birthday, Miss D! Have a raucous time with all your friends at Rainbow Bridge. And thank you for ten wonderful years!
