Sorry for this spoiler alert but there’s a new dog on Downton Abbey!!!!
Isis, the yellow labrador, died in episode seven. And her predecessor, Pharaoh still stars in the show’s opening credits. A place like Downton wouldn’t be right without a dog on its premises.
And we are ALL delighted!!!!
The new puppy is a gift from Dowager Countess …
And Lord Grantham named the new puppy Tiaa.
Like Pharaoh and Isis – both names with references to Ancient Egypt, Tiaa was the wife of Pharaoh Amenhotep II.
Welcome Tiaa!
Maybe the final series will have a happy ending.
May’s comment: Unlike the previous episodes, this new series seem to be reviving characters.

This pup looks like a yellow flat coated retriever however some say it’s a lab, What is the breed? And who is the breeder?
