Early yesterday morning, we set off for St. Pancras International train station to show our support for PetsPyjamas’ Pets To Paris campaign. When we arrived there were just five of us.
Among the five was Dylan, an elderly cockapoo!
One by one they came …
The meeting point outside St. Pancras International was starting to fill up
With dogs of all breeds and sizes
We started to put in our bandanas …
Here’s me with mine –
Well, how do I look?
Here we are getting ready to start our demonstration –
We had gathered for a group photo –
And then it was time to march inside the station to where Eurostar is –
And here we were … big smiles from all of us as well as passers by –
Happy but determined faces –
We stopped in front of the Eurostar signage to take another group photo
And these were the passengers taking photos of us! 🙂
Several Eurostar employees actually came up to us and asked where do they sign the petition!
Here’s me and Mummy – happy campaigners!
P.s. Mummy has never ever demonstrated against anything – so this is a first for her! 🙂 Let’s go, Mummy dearest! We shall fight for dog rights!
May’s comment: It was such a sweet “demonstration” – so many smiles, so many happy faces. Even the Eurostar staff got into it! Some asked how they can sign the petition and they were so helpful when we were taking photos at the ticket booth, etc.
Please support PetPyjamas campaign to allow pets to travel in a dedicated carriage via Eurostar. We want to be able to travel with our furry ones! I am always happier when I am travelling with little Miss D! www.PetsPyjamas.com/Petition
