We began our journey from Kinloch Lodge at 16.30. The very nice taxi driver gave us a little detour so we could see more of the island. I just like looking out the window – wind in my face.
We boarded the train at Kyle of Lochalsh – this is the tiring bit – slow train that stops at every station. So I am bored.
After a two and a half hour train ride of absolute boredom, we arrive at Inverness. We have an hour before the Caledonian Sleeper leaves the station. Mummy walked me round and round the platform so I can do pee before getting on the long train ride where I am confined to the cabin. So we’re back to where we started.
I took my place in the cabin …
And then Mummy snuck in for a cuddle.
Our train was an hour late – they had to fix a loose cable while at Edinburgh. That’s why there was a lot of noise in the middle of the night and we were still for a long time. Anyway, we arrived at Euston Station, jumped into a cab and on the way home, I see something familiar –
