A Long Summer’s Day

Today the sun came up at about 04.45am but Mummy wasn’t awake enough to take a photo of the rising sun. 🙂

But we watched the sunset tonight at almost 10pm.

It’s Summer Solstice and it was a beautiful sunshine day to enjoy.

Mummy was having a photography session with Martin in the park.  She’s trying to wean herself off the iPhone camera.

While they were busy looking at buttons and screens, discussing apertures and light meters I got to run around. But obviously I was their subject of interest. Here are a few of Mummy’s attempts at close-up “portraits” …P1010641 P1010642 P1010646

And here’s one that Martin took of us.P1010651

After we said goodbye to Martin, we took a walk to Notting Hill had lunch at Hereford – we could only sit outside as it has an open kitchen.

Then it was time to visit Carl and Judy. Dogs are not allowed in the hotel but Mummy snuck me in there! Ha! Ha! Sneaky Mummy!IMG_8137

We had supper at Lucio – here’s me getting my usual grissini from under the table. Ah, that wild look!IMG_8148Here’s me with Mummy and Carl – we love Lucio! They are so welcoming to dogs and they have their own cockapoo – Coco, whom I still have to meet!IMG_8152When we left the restaurant well after 9:30pm, the sky was still light.  IMG_8165But all good things must come to an end.  Mummy said that from now on the day will start to get shorter again … summer had reached it’s height and now we are on our way towards the next seasonal change.
