Look who’s the rebel!

Mummy went to the Nike store on Regent Street but the security guy told her – no dogs allowed!

She started to walk away but turned back and asked to speak to the Manager. Instead he called the head of security.

The head of security told Mummy that it’s the right of each store to set their  own policies and Nike decided they did not allow dogs.

Mummy stood her ground, holding me in her arms and asked to what was the basis of the store policy!!! You go, Mummy!

She demanded to speak to the person who set those policies rather than the implementors of the policy.  Finally the Operating Officer came along. He was a nice guy. He listened to Mummy telling him how we had spent an hour at a very busy Apple store and we had lunch at a restaurant.  She had come specially to buy something specific. He said if Mummy carried me the whole time and for this one time we could go in. Ha! We won!!!!

Mummy held me the entire time she was shopping. I know I am a bit heavy but she was determined.  She got what she went to buy and she got me into the store. So today I was not the rebel.  We’ll probably never be let in again.

I am too, totally fed up with these places that set their own policies. we can take Sealea into the Bar at Barraset Barn, really good posh restaurant, we can take her into The Encore (great pub chain in Stratford), But not stand in doorway of the M and S in Stratford!!!! I am going to stand my ground next time! Poos rule!!
