A Taste of New York in Mayfair
Some lunches are about the food. Others are about the memories they bring back.
This week, Tobi Masa at The Chancery Rosewood launched its new burger, and that was all the excuse we needed to book a table.
Years ago, when I was working in New York, Bar Masa at The Shops at Columbus Circle was one of my favourite lunch spots. It was somewhere I genuinely looked forward to escaping to in the middle of a busy working day. So when I heard the burger had made its way across the Atlantic, I couldn’t resist trying it again—for old times’ sake.
With Adelina visiting London, it felt like the perfect opportunity to celebrate the launch together.
Set within the beautiful Chancery Rosewood, Tobi Masa has that wonderful sense of understated luxury that makes you want to linger a little longer. We always love visiting—not just for the food, but for the calm atmosphere, warm welcome, and elegant surroundings.
And the burger?
Worth the trip down memory lane. And they offered some sushi options for the dogs too!
