Los  Mochis in Notting Hill is a Mexican‑Japanese eatery named after its stylish canine Chairwoman, Mochi. Every summer, Mochi honours dog lovers and dogs.

Tucked away just off Notting Hill Gate is Los Mochis, a vibrant dining destination that offers a creative fusion of Mexican and Japanese cuisine in a stylish, welcoming space. But beyond the bold flavours and chic design, there’s something truly unique about this restaurant: it’s named after Mochi, the restaurant’s lovable Yorkshire Terrier “Chairwoman” and inspiration for the brand. She has a starring role in the heart and name of the restaurant.

Each summer, Los Mochis turns the spotlight toward our pooches, unveiling a special doggy lunch menu to celebrate International Dog Day (26 August). This year, the indulgence runs from 18 to 31 August and is available during lunch service.

To make it extra nutritious and paw‑pleasing, a thoughtfully crafted menu using high-quality ingredients like Dogviar oil makes this more than just a novelty—for pups and owners alike. The menu includes dishes enhanced with Dogviar caviar oil—a nutrient-rich, dog-safe ingredient.

Elmo scoffed up the whole plate, George caused carnage as he grabbed the Pupcake and demolished it, while Lulu delicately chewed on the dog biscuits and had the Chicken Taco.

Even more heartwarming: 100% of profits from the Doggy Menu go to Silver Fox Dog Rescue UK, supporting their incredible work rescuing and rehabilitating dogs. Plus, bespoke Los Mochis dog bowls are available to buy, with proceeds also benefiting the rescue.

Los Mochis Notting Hill is a stylish, fusion-flavour destination that puts dogs at the heart of one of its most joyful celebrations. Whether you’re a loyal local or just passing through Notting Hill with your pup in tow, this dog-friendly rendezvous is worth visiting.

Of course, the human guests are in for a treat, too. Los Mochis offers a bold Tasting Menu that combines the punchy vibrancy of Mexican cooking with the precision of Japanese flavours. Expect everything from fresh ceviche to delicate sushi rolls, tacos with a twist, and beautifully plated mains.

Pair it all with one of Los Mochis’ must-have mojitos — crisp, refreshing, and perfectly balanced, they’re a signature of the house and an ideal match for the menu’s bold flavours. And dessert? Don’t miss their miso brownie — rich, gooey, and perfectly balanced with a salty-sweet depth that makes it utterly unforgettable.
