When I was little, I would wake up, go to Mummy’s side of the bed and paw at her. She used to think I was annoying (but still sweet!). Well, little does she know how polite I was. Because George – he’s something else!
He walks all over Mummy …
and goes right up to her face and starts licking her and if he doesn’t get a response, he sits on her head!
As for me, I know better these days. I do not even bother to move till I hear the alarm. Then I get off the bed and sits by the side – as she hits the snooze button. When she’s ready she says “good morning” to me and I jump up and sit by her side.- till she asks – Breakfast? Only then will I bother to start wagging my tail with excitement.
I just know how to be her NUMBER 1!!!! LOL! George – someday you’ll learn.
Pssst – actually George then wants to play and I did play with him – and we played hard! And silly him, he didn’t know better. When he gets excited, he can’t hold his bladder, especially after a long night. So this morning, he had a little accident. Mummy wasn’t so pleased to wake up to a puddle on the hall rug!
May’s comment: Been pushing the boundaries with George – he has no problem holding his bladder for up to six hours, if necessary. The danger comes when it’s past five hours and he starts to play. We’ve seen it happen right before our eyes on the train home from Berlin, and it happened again this morning. Oh well, guess I better get up when the alarm goes and get them breakfast rather than let them play and get all excited. My fault.

I think you should move to he country May, to a house with a big enclosed garden and a dog flap lol. The New Forest is lovely!
Its certainly much easier with a garden! I can hold on for hours and hours like Darcy now I’m grown up, but if I do need to go out urgently I still use the same tactics as you Georgie! Hope you bladder grows a little bit for your Mummy’s sake!
On the train to Berlin? OMG. I said you should write the definitive book about travelling with dogs, May!
i think we forget that not all dogs are cockapoos- ie… they can read our minds. Not George’s fault that he’s not one.
