Goodbye and thank you, Malta!
It’s time to go home but before we do, given how things have been going during our travels, we made sure I am totally covered for my re-entry to the UK.
I wasn’t very excited about being there either. I love going to my vet in London but this time I was not sure.
The vet did the regular check-up.
He told Mummy that though I seem fine, I could still lose a bit more weight. I need to stay at around 9.5 kg at the most – exceeding that I am on my way to being middle overweight.
What is he doing now? I don’t see any treats. Oh, you mean treats and losing weight doesn’t go together.
And then what I thought were treats were they rather vile tablets. He kept giving it to me and I spat them out – three times. Eventually he had to push them down my throat!
Yuck!
I was the third cockapoo he had met in his entire practice – and we were all from the UK!
May’s comment: Another country, another vet – just to be sure we have everything in place. The last time we almost got into trouble when the vet forgot to put down the time of application of Milbemax. Given how things have been going – just had to be doubly careful and had visited the vet as soon as we got in – must be at least 2 days before entering the UK.
