Mummy travelled quite a bit the first year. She still had the wander bug. At first she left me with Tracy from Precious Pooch. Or she thought she did. I was actually not with Tracy but someone else. When Mummy realised that – I never went back to Precious Pooch again.
The first time she went away for two and a half weeks, I must have had a growing spurt because when she came home, she did a double take when she saw me. I am now fully grown – about 39cm/16 inches in height.
Anyway since then she started leaving me with her friends.
There’s Jane who’s crazy about me and I her. We have a crazy love!
There’s Heidi and Lindsey who takes me to Hampstead Heath and as Heidi was Mummy’s tennis coach, they throw tennis balls all day as I run up and down the hill.
Sarah is our neighbour and lives upstairs. At first I was confused why I had to go past the door I know as home, now I know I get to go play in another flat. How fun! Sometimes I stay over when Mummy goes out for her “wild nights”!
Mairi used to come all the way from Glasgow to stay with me so I can be home and sleep in my bed. I don’t know what they think but I get on their beds regardless.
There was Olivia who is the craziest dog-lover ever – she’s more excitable than I am most of the time. She calls me “Darcy Dog” and she creates more of a commotion than I do when she sees me. We drove around in her car, I would sit on her lap and we would steer the wheel! And during her watch I discovered squirrelling – much to Mummy’s dismay.
Raymond takes me for walks ever so often and has a Pug called Sneeze – it’s not because he sneezes, he just makes Pug noises!
Recently, I’ve been walking with Agnes. She and her boyfriend – together they walk some big dogs. I was nervous at first – remember I don’t like big dogs. But now I play with them.
But these days, I get to go to The House of Mutt – more about them in next post as I have too much to tell!
