Oliver came to visit all the way from Los Angeles. This is his first time in London so we had a lot to show him.
We drove around London …
They went up to the London Eye which I couldn’t go to.
We walked past Big Ben and listened to the clock chime
Westminster Abbey was very interesting for Oliver as he loves history
This morning we went to see Buckingham Palace
I looked through the railings and saw men in red uniforms …
And then there were more … they were marching together. I couldn’t see very well so Mummy carried me to have a look.
We drove around Trafalgar Square and Chinatown and Piccadilly Circus showing him as much as we could.
Then I had an appointment at The Pet Spa so I didn’t go with Oliver to the Tower of London. I’m sure they wouldn’t let me in anyway.
Given he was only here for a day and a half, that was pretty good going. We told him he has to come back as there’s a lot more to London he still hasn’t seen.
When we were home, Oliver told me he has two dogs in Los Angeles. There’s Maggie, a dachshund who is a grand old dame of 14 years. She’s quite blind.
And Ruby is a mixed German Shepherd. She’s four and a half.
As they live so far away, I’ll never get to meet them. But maybe one day Mummy will see them on her trips.
