My stand-in

OK, maybe it’s not such a bad idea after all for Mummy to take Imposter on her travels.

When Little Tyke saw Mummy yesterday, he was so excited to see her and then asked – “where’s your doggy?”

Mummy wasn’t exactly thinking that but since she had Impostor in the bag, she told Little Tyke she has a doggy surprise for him.

When Mummy showed him the cardboard cut-out of me, he was really disappointed. He thought I was literally in the bag. So Mummy had to explain to him that it was a very long plane journey, and Thailand is way too hot for furry me.  And instead she had brought my Impostor – well, she didn’t say it that way.

Little Tyke then gave me a kiss and a hug. Well, I guess Impostor did her job. I am sorry not to be there for Little Tyke but at least he got to hug my “stand-in” – that makes it all worthwhile.

May’s comment: Made me so happy that Sasha remembered Darcy and thought she would be coming with me. If only I could.
