We’ve been busy learning some French – enough to understand this clip on French Televisione 2!
The film clip was aired on France TV2 last Friday during lunchtime. A former schoolmate of Mum’s saw it on telly and was so surprised! She tried to film parts of it on her phone. But France TV2 sent us the clip. Mum was worried that she would come across as a crazy dog lady. Ahem! Well?
Back in late March, we were asked to participate in a mini-series about pets from around the world for France TV2. On the day of the interview, we met a few other doggies and their owners.
We were interviewed and lots of film footage of us parading our wear.
May’s comment: Yeah, dog crazy lady! France Television 2 asked if they could film us and a few others. They asked about our relationship with our dogs. The French television crew were particularly curious why London dogs are so well behaved. We were surprised! They say they have only met friendly and well-behaved dogs in London. What!?!? They haven’t met some of our friends – wink! wink! LOL!
In general, I think a lot of London dogs have been to puppy school or have been trained in some way or other. And definitely well-socialised – obviously not speaking for everyone. We know one thing for sure, a lot of London dog owners are themselves “well-socialised” given how many turn up to doggy events. LOL! The dogs probably couldn’t be bothered but the hoomans have a great time just being able to do things with their pooches.
The other aspect is I always say, London dogs, or city dogs in general are used to tight spaces, they are used to crowds and noise.
But according to the crew they have never heard of puppy classes and doggy events in Paris. I gather they were not dog owners themselves so they might not know what the French dogs do. LOL!
It was fun, we had a beautiful day of filming in Hyde Park and anything to spread good news about our well-socialised London dogs to the continent! Oui! Oui!
