Mummy’s friend, Dada’s little pooch Mookie passed away in the Philippines. One of Mookie’s Mummy wrote a really lovely heartfelt thank you. We thought it was beautiful and wanted to share it.
“I remember first seeing you in the pet store when I was 10 years old. My sister and I immediately knew that you were the one we wanted to buy because you were the cutest and friendliest of all the little puppies barking at us from inside your cages.We thought you looked like a cow because of your color scheme and wanted to name you “Moo” but my mom thought it was corny and decided to name you Mookie. HAHA labo.But anyways, thank you for all the great memories my friend. Thank you for always wanting to play with me whenever my neighborhood friends were not home or busy and I had no one to play with. I’ll definitely miss getting worried whenever you’d run out of the house but eventually find your way home after a day of God-only-knows shenanigans that you’d been up to.You’re in a better place now. Dog heaven where you have more cars to pee on, legs to hump, and bigger dogs to provoke and run away from when they get mad.I’ll miss you Mookie. Rest in peace. Thank you my friend” – Monch
Goodbye Mookie. I’ve never met you but you sound like a really fun pooch. I am sure we would have had lots to talk about and we would have fun running together.
