It is not always I get to go inside places – here are four of many refusals 🙁
If they won’t let us in these places, they should at least keep the parks open for us.

We don’t understand these policies! We always hear our Mummy say they are dum rules since most doggies are cleaner and better behaved than most people we see!
It is a problem when you are a good, caring owner and don’t want to leave your dog outside.
Croyde has some very nice dog friendly shops, bars and restaurants. One food shop owner explained to me that there is no reason for banning dogs from shops etc unless there is an poem kitchen or food prep area. Sounds sensible to me.
Ben is still a bit hyper in company though so I’m cautious.
We often hear that – for health and safety reasons! But they don’t know what it really means. A lot of times it’s because the owners don’t like dogs so that’s the easy excuse. The more honest owners say – it’s because other clients complain. On the other hand we go to a restaurant where they have doggy sundays or our own cockapoo event and the whole restaurant is filled with dogs. And at another place, the owner’s policy is – he opened the restaurant so dog owners can enjoy their meals with their pets. Whenever Mummy challenges anyone who says for health and safety reasons esp when food preparation is upstairs or in the basement of the restaurant and when they sell cupcakes who will probably kill people more than our presence – they just keep repeating that line and don’t really know why they are saying it. Very annoying. All that said, we go to a lot of other restaurants and stores that are only too happy to have us.
