Lulu’s first beach

We took Lulu to South Sands Beach in Devon for her first beach experience. I think she was a little unsure of what she was supposed to do. I guess she has never been out running freely in wide open spaces.

I was, on the other hand, barking madly with excitement, as I absolutely love being on the beach. When Darcy and I used to run on the beach, she would bark and get me to run and play. This time, I was the one barking, but Lulu didn’t want to play. She kept running back to Mum.

Our friends Ivy and Jett came with us – and we frolicked on the beach.

The recent storm Ciaran had washed up a lot of seaweed onto the beach. We had fun sniffing it, but Lulu wasn’t quite sure what to make of them. So Mum had to carry her over the strewn seaweed.

There are also scenic walks, but between me going crazy on walks and a short legged toy poodle that would probably sink into muddy paths, Mum chose not to go with Ivy, Jett and Alison. But they showed us the beautiful scenery along the trail.
