Sunny St. Ives

What a lovely, lovely place and the sun was shining – might be the last summer day in Cornwall!  We walked into town and saw beautiful views.

Lots of very brave seagulls flying very close to us.

Aunty Meg really wanted to come and visit the Barbara Hepworth Gardens and the Tate Museum. So along the walk we saw the first Barbara Hepworth sculpture.

The next stop was St. Ia Church.

We stayed outside waiting for Aunty Meg while she went in, in search of the Barbara Hepworth sculpture – Madonna and Child. We were listening to the church bell ringing and didn’t realise Aunty Meg was ringing the bell herself!

Then she came out to tell us that we were allowed in and we can sit at mass! Wow!
