When will I see you again?

Hi fellow Lockdowners!  It’s been a long time since our last meet-up at the end of February.

We hope you have all survived the Lockdown and more importantly that you have all been well during this ongoing pandemic.

Some of you have asked when we will be planning to meet up again.

We met Cookie on one of our walkies.
George was completely in love with Cookie. He hadn’t seen too many other dogs during lockdown. Sorry Cookie, my brother is a little strange at times.

Mum checked on the guidelines and it looks like we will be running around by ourselves for a little while more.

We met new pups and have invited them to join us when we can all meet up again.

Me, Cookie, Teddy and George met at a park.

Rufus, a cavapoo who lives near us.

We miss you all and look forward to the day when we can be running and playing with you.

May’s comment: It doesn’t look like we will be meeting up as a large group in the near future.

The Government guidelines for London is we can continue to meet in any outdoor space in a group of up to six people from different households.

This means you can meet up with a few others for walkies but a large group like ours would not be advisable.  We don’t need the police coming along to disperse us.

Given this guidance, we shall wait for further advice before we begin our Hyde Park Doodle Meets again.

The virus is still very much around and with more people out and about, we need to continue to stay alert, stay safe and save lives.

  1. I was only at one doodle meet up, but it was so fun and everyone was so friendly and welcoming! I hope it won’t be too long before you can all run around and enjoy each other’s company.
Of course, however, it’s all about wellness and safety, so waiting is the best option.
    Stay safe, stay well!

(May, for some obscure reason I’m not receiving notifications of your blog posts.)
