London is a busy city in so many ways. Besides people hurrying around from place to place, some people spend their time painting murals.
There’s more street art it seems in East London, especially around Shoreditch –
Some very large elaborate murals!
Sometimes they are pictures made of mosaic tiles …
Sometimes it is not just one wall but almost a whole building!
And there are ones that have us scratching our heads – is this a human plant?
In Islington, we saw this version of a rather sassy “Queenie” 
We usually like Pret a Manger’s advertising – like this one which is a quite clever use of fruits to depict a peacock!
This is not street art but another version of peacock feathers! Mummy liked the colours.
A lot of times, installations in store windows is more like art.
Sometimes they are just words
That makes us think.
Or they speak the truth
And sometimes they just remind us of how we should approach life –
Stop complaining about the rain! Use an umbrella and appreciate the very green parks we have. Thank you rain even though Mummy makes us wear funny coats when we go outside.
And then when it gets too hot, a winter scene in one of the back streets near South Kensington tube station takes our mind off the heat –
Though rarely is that needed much! LOL!
And last year, we went to Brixton Village to visit this mural of David Bowie when he died
They serve as memorials.
When we went to visit Diesel, our poo friend in Manchester, we came across another one of David Bowie!
What do you think he’s trying to say? Be silent? Don’t speak too loudly? Keep our meeting a secret?
This was part of a series of street art in Stephen’s Square. This is Silver Surfer! 
He’s not a Super Hero! And least not to me, but Eve may think otherwise! LOL!

Love the mosaic and Pret a Manger add, not too sure about the sassy queenie. I wonder what HM would think Lol.
I think over the years there’s been so many distortions of HM and she takes the high ground – let people say what they want to because she knows herself. She doesn’t have knee jerk reactions and she doesn’t take it personally. That’s what so fab about her. A class act! ?
